I saw the facebook post, and told myself to ignore it.
“Anyone want to design my new logo?!?!?!?????” my friend Hannah’s status asked excitedly. (Literally that many question marks, btw. I copy/pasted.)
I kept scrolling. I don’t have time for this, I told myself. There’s a gazillion projects to work on for the wedding, and that’s sorta my priority at the moment.
But it’s me. And it was Hannah. I scrolled back up to look at the responses to her post. Some had suggestions, some had questions, but none were volunteering their own services.
Sigh. I couldn’t not.
“Logo??? *raises hand* Pick me, pick me!” I found myself typing, at the same time reprimanding myself sternly for biting off more than I could chew.
So I added a caveat: “Question being, when would you need it? With the wedding coming up, I’m *kiiiinda* swamped til end of May haha. But. I’d love to help you out if I can squeeze it in before then OR if you’re not in a rush!!!”

To my happiness (and chagrin?) she did pick me, and the project – for her Tupperware team, named True North – began.
I told her not to expect a first draft for maybe two weeks.
I gave it to her the next day.
That draft was on Tuesday. It’s now Thursday and mostlyyy done. Which is good, because…that’s not the only new project I took on this week.
But that’ll have to wait for another post 🙂
