Coordinating schedules is one of my least favorite things to do in the world ever.
Tell me if this sounds familiar: “We should meet up sometime!” [months go by] “Oh hey! We should meet up sometime!” [more months] “I miss you! We should meet up sometime!”
And on it goes.
It’s weird, the things you learn about yourself when you become a stepmom. Especially if you’ve never been a mom before.
J.K. Rowling. Taylor Swift. Johnny Depp. You see their names and you think of one thing they’re known for.
And then there’s me and you.
Every day, I tell myself a lie.
